自2012年起，一群数字人文专家发起了 数字人文大奖（Digital Humanities Awards ）。他们发起这个奖项评选是为了让人们认识有意思的数字人文资源和工具，促进这个领域的发展。这些奖项虽然没有任何金钱奖励，但所有提名都经过国际学术委员会的审查，并向所有学界人士开放海选。
哈佛大学、中研院和北大联合开发，由包弼德教授等专家主持的数字人文项目——CBDB中国历代人物传记资料库（https://projects.iq.harvard.edu/chinesecbdb）也获得提名，入围“最佳数字人文工具（Best DH Tool or Suite of Tools）”的评选！CBDB是全球范围里入围的12个项目之一。
早在2005年就建立的CBDB项目是中国研究学科最有历史、积累最多的数字人文项目，广为文史学界熟知。CBDB项目近几年投入了大量资源和人力开发唐代到清代的历史人物数据，目前已经包罗41万人物的丰富数据，并无偿开放给研究者使用。同时，CBDB也致力推动数字人文和人文大数据在中国的发展和教学，活跃举办了一连串公益培训和推广活动，帮助了无数国内外朋友借助大数据研究中国历史。
任何有兴趣投票的人都可以参与，请投票支持这个中国研究的标杆性成果！ 截止日期是本周日——2月25日。
